A Sunrise in May

 

Last Saturday we visited Post #38 to watch the sunrise. I was going to share a video so you could experience the waves vicariously yourself, but apparently even a 17 second video is too long for this website. Sorry about that! Next time I’ll try to capture a shorter one. Instead, here are a bunch of pictures. 

There’s the sun!

It was a beautiful spot to do our personal “Come Follow Me” morning study!

Once we noticed the gray clouds beginning to roll in, we decided it was time to pack up, check out Post #37 (notice that #38 and #39 were very close together), and head over to breakfast.

Notice something different? After having tried each of the omelet varieties, one of us decided to try out the pancakes this time. The rain arrived while we ate, but that’s okay! We actually remembered to take an umbrella inside with us. A sunrise at the beach turned out to be the perfect outdoor activity for this particular day.
