Jonathan Dickinson Park - The Yellow Trail

This was the second trail we've done in the Eagle's Nest area of Jonathan Dickinson State Park, and it turned out to be about 4 1/2 miles long, which was the perfect length for a hike after arriving at the park and before setting up camp.

These particular trails are meant for horses as well, although we only saw a couple this time.

We basically did the red loop counter-clockwise, taking the "yellow trail" shortcut.

While Wayne was focused on keeping a constant pace, I didn't mind stopping now and again to take pictures of flowers before catching up to him now and again. It works for us.

We made it to the end!
