A Monday Activity

Today was a "no work" day, which means it's time to do some exploring. The next activity on the list was a beach, but we're having a bit of a cold spell and beach days don't count unless you actually go swimming, so we decided to visit the next county park instead - Governor Lawton Chiles Memorial Park.

Checking out the memorial.

Unfortunately, Weston had to work, but the rest of his family joined us for a picnic. (The boys were excited to discover cookies in the lunch crate.)

The boys were a bit disappointed this park didn't have a playground; however, Grandma remembered to bring some frisbees and a ball game, so everyone had a fun time. Wyatt even decided the horseshoe pit made a decent place to practice hurdles.

It was a beautiful way to spend the day and we were grateful for the company!
