Russell Field and Spence Field

To reach Russell Field we started at the Anthony Creek Trailhead. Keep your map handy, because there are several junctions on this loop of 14 miles.

 

We made it to the camping shelter at Russell Field, then moved on to find the one at Spence Field.

Turn on the Bote Trail to get back to the Anthony Creek Trail.

Near the end of our loop we passed through a "horse" campsite, but no horses were around. This was a long hike, so dinner was simple - hot dogs cooked over the fire.
