Beginning a Major Project

See that discoloration on the house? That means it needs to be repainted, and because our family has difficulty paying someone else to do something we can, we're going to paint it ourselves. Fortunately, we have two strapping young adult sons home for the summer to do the hard work!!

We don't expect them to do it all; this will be a multi-year project. However, now I don't have to cringe whenever I look at the balcony supports.

What a great Mother's Day gift!
