Don't Eat Pete

Memorable Monday Moments
"Don't Eat Pete"

Jeff asked for fun game ideas to share with the younger kids in their missionary lessons and "Don't Eat Pete" was the first one that came to mind. Our home teacher introduced it to us, and no matter how often we used it, the kids were enthralled. The directions are really quite simple.
1) Draw a few stick-figure faces on a piece of paper.
2) Send someone out of the room and pick one of the pictures to be Pete.
3) Place a small candy or pretzel on each picture.
4) The person returns and starts eating the treats one-by-one. If he picks up the treat on "Pete" everyone else yells "Don't eat Pete" and his turn is over.
5) The object is to pick Pete last so you can eat all the candy.

I googled and found several sites with variations. Have fun deciding which one you like best!
This is really just meant to be a fun game to foster family togetherness. However, if you wanted to search for a "lesson" to teach how about "be quick to observe" or "show kindness to others" or "seek for guidance"? What else would you suggest?
