Attitude of Gratitude - Day #8
Today I am thankful for missionaries. 
In particular, I am thankful for weekly emails from missionary sons. Our elder is doing great, and if you haven't heard from him lately, his emails are posted here. 
I'm thankful for the preparation he and his older brothers did before leaving, and for the example they've set for younger brothers and friends.
I'm also grateful for the missionaries who brought the gospel to my family, years and years ago. Warren H. Lyon baptized my great-grandfather on my father's side. Lyman Wight was one of the missionaries who baptized a fifth great-grandfather on my mother's side - Sanford Porter.
