By the time of his 2nd Christmas, Weston had a baby brother. David was two weeks old. There's our $5 tree decorated with crocheted ornaments. But this year there was a banister so we could hang the stockings! Weston received a rocking horse from Santa (the picture is of Brad riding it a few years later).

But this year there was a banister so we could hang the stockings! Weston received a rocking horse from Santa (the picture is of Brad riding it a few years later). 
Santa needs to assemble gifts before dropping them off!!! My main memory of this year is wanting to leave to be on time for dinner (a two hour drive to Aunt Joan's house) but not being able to go until the rocking horse was put together. Having a brand-new baby didn't help my emotional state either. However, we survived and that's what makes memories fun!
