Our Little Miracle

One of the most special things about the wedding weekend was having Wayne's former mission president perform the sealing. Since we had no idea he was a sealer at the temple, we consider it a miracle that we got there early, recognized him, and he was able to rearrange the schedule. It was an incredible hour of instruction that I'll never forget. I especially appreciated his comments on how temple weddings are a "payday" for grandparents. Doesn't President Packard have a wonderful countenance? (and his wife too!) I hope we can grow up to be like them :)

Note: President Packard passed away a few years after this, which makes our little miracle even more special. Here's a link to his obituary so our grandchildren can have an idea of what a great man he was. We'll never forget his influence in our lives.

That really did make it so wonderful! I will always be grateful for that tender mercy.
