Time with Grandkids in Florida, Part Two

We (or at least, I) didn't spend a lot of time with this precious granddaughter when she visited our house for Easter, but we did go visit her house for graduation. That gave us time to read stories and play ball and do other normal toddler things together, for at least a little bit before she left the state.

Notice her special Star Wars "Rae" hairdo in honor of May the Fourth.

After the graduation ceremonies were over, we celebrated at Olive Garden and were impressed with how well Savannah behaved for not getting a nap.

Then it was time to load the U-Haul trailer. One of my favorite memories of our short visit was having Savannah help me push a suitcase filled with kitchen utensils from the apartment to the truck.

She's growing up to be a great helper! Of course, it was also helpful to keep her occupied away from the boxes.

Once the trailer was loaded, it was time for us to say good-bye! Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future we'll be able to write a "Time with Grandkids in Texas" post.
