Porter's Creek

We figured we should get an official picture at the official sign before we left the park!
The Porter's Creek trail was very similar to the Ramsey Cascades trail, although not quite so difficult.  It was shady the whole way, and actually kind of dark, particularly since it was a cloudy, misty day.
I forgot to record the number of bridges we crossed, but I think it was about 4 there, so 8 total.  This was also a sparsely populated trail, and I think we saw 3 others hiking it.

After 3.7 miles, the trail ended at a group campground.
And then we walked back, enjoying the sound of the creek the whole way.
We hope your feet enjoyed their adventures this week!!

I haven't been able to hike in over a year, and I LOVED seeing these! We'll be hiking a lot in Panaca later this month.
