Another Day at Iguazú Falls

On Tuesday, the island was still closed for hiking, so we decided to do the next best thing, which was take a boat tour that got close to it. Don't expect to do this and stay dry. The experience was breathtaking and exhilarating!!It was nice to get back on dry land.Salto Bossetti Falls: These are the falls where the walkway gets so close. Wayne had gone to the end the first day and said it was a "not to be missed" experience.Since I was already sopping wet, I decided to give it a try. He was right.
Afterwards, we went back to the top to get some more pictures from that angle.
See how close it is?I just love the straight edge at the top.A totally incredible sight!

We were glad we got to the park first thing, because by noon it was pouring down rain. Since we had seen everything, we left and went back to Puerto Iguazú. Later that afternoon we did some more exploring and stumbled upon this little park celebrating the confluence of two rivers and three countries. It was pretty amazing!
